FACILITIES
Of the 54 health care facilities in Red Deer and surrounding area, 18 have 24-hour emergency care. Each hospital in the area provides, or has access to services in: obstetrics, pediatrics, inpatient and outpatient surgery, palliative care, ambulatory care, mental health, population health, public health and home care. These programs are supported by on-site x-ray, therapeutic and rehabilitation services. |

The Centennial Centre for Mental Health and Brain Injury is a psychiatric treatment facility, located in Ponoka, offering assessment, diagnosis, treatment and consultation services, as well as education and research.
Camrose and surrounding area manages 13 health centres, 16 community health services offices, nine community mental health clinics. We also offer continuing care services in 12 communities in east central Alberta. |
