Salary/Benefits: Minimum: 32.34 per hour Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Responsibilities/Duties: Under the supervision of the Manager Acute and care and Head Nurse (when applicable), this position will direct and provide patient/resident care, schedule staff as necessary, deal with families and/or residents and ensure the care needs of residents are being met in a comprehensive and timely manner.
Qualifications: Graduation from an approved school of nursing required. Current licensee with CARNA required. Current CPR required. Current ACLS, TNCC, NRP an asset. Previous experience in the acute care setting or emergency department desired. Effective verbal and written communication required. Works well in an interdisciplinary team setting required. Leads a work team in an effective manner required. Maintains a neat and professional appearance in accordance with the dress code required. Treat patients/residents with respect, regardless of race, health history and personality required. Completes work within an appropriate time frame required.Please note this position is located outside of the Calgary city limits (136 km south of Calgary).
