Salary/Benefits: Minimum: 32.34 per hour Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Responsibilities/Duties: The Paediatric Intensive Care Unit provides advanced care for patients from birth to 18 years at the new Alberta Children's Hospital. The Unit is fast-paced and dynamic with a focus on family centred care and teamwork. We offer two weeks of classroom instruction and two to six weeks of bedside orientation to successful candidates.
Qualifications: Current CARNA registration. Previous or current paediatric and/or neonatal ICU experience, skills and knowledge preferred. Paediatric ICU certification (CNCCP) an asset. Current paediatric experience preferred. Demonstrated excellent family centred care skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment with a focus on collaborative teamwork. Demonstrated advanced critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment.
