Responsibilities/Duties:
The provincial Addiction and Mental Health, Knowledge and Strategy area is a team of individuals working across multiple sites with responsibility for initiatives within the Addiction and Mental Health Research Partnership Program, supporting research and knowledge exchange activities, and provincial committee work. This team also supports the strategic priorities of the provincial AHS-Addiction and Mental Health area.
Reporting to the Manager, Knowledge Exchange, the Research Coordinator provides overall project management. The Research Coordinator will work within the team to implement the Alberta Addiction and Mental Health Research Partnership Program (RPP) and other initiatives of AHS-A&MH. This position will provide research, evaluation, project management, editorial and other support for the team.
Duties & Responsibilities Provide project management for the RPP, including setting and monitoring team deadlines to ensure all deliverables are met. Coordinate the planning and follow-up for multiple external committees, working groups and internal planning teams. Administer and manage multiple RPP contracts and partnership agreements. Draft RPP agreements, contracts, request for proposals, and grant agreements. Write and coordinate the production of RPP status updates for external stakeholders. This includes divisional and organizational reporting requirements and submissions to various government Ministries. Compile information/evidence regarding areas of interest to the RPP or AHS-Addiction and Mental Health and presenting to the Knowledge and Strategy team, other AHS staff and external stakeholders as required. This includes performing analysis and synthesis of data/information related to RPP initiatives for summaries, reports, briefings, website pages, and updates. Perform literature reviews or evaluation as required. Support the strategic priorities of AHS-Addiction and Mental Health
