7.75 hour shifts, 10 shifts in a 2 week cycle Shift Pattern: Days
As of April 1, 2010: $34.58-$45.94
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will provide mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, case coordination and crisis intervention services to children, adolescents, adults and families with mental health, emotional and/or behavioral problems.

This position will work collaboratively with other healthcare providers in the region.

Responsibilities include clinical practice, community outreach, evaluation of assessment & treatment strategies.
Education:
  • Masters of Social Work (Clinic); Masters or degree in Nursing or Mental Health
  • Psychiatric Nursing; Masters or graduate degree in Psychology
  • Experience:
  • 2 - 3 years direct experience working with children and youth with mental illness and mental disorders
  • Minimum 3 years recent clinical experience providing individual, family, and group therapy to clients under 18 years of age
  • License(s), Certificate(s), Professional Membership(s):
  • Must be registered with an Alberta professional association (CARNA, ACSW, CAP, or CRPNA) ; If registered with CARNA/CRPNA, BCLS is required
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation is required
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
  • Knowledge & experience in individual & group psychotherapy
  • Working knowledge of mental health issues, mental disorders and the DSM-IV TR
  • Ability to use a variety of treatment modalities
  • Work independently and as a team member

    • Vehicle Required - Required to provide a vehicle for business use; along with acceptable driver's abstract and proof of business insurance
    • Driver's License Required
