Current CARNA Registration
One year of current surgical experience preferred
Current IV and BGM certification
Preference given to candidate with PCA and Epidural Analgesia experience
Certification in Central Line removal and blood withdrawal preferred
Charge experience an asset
Demonstrates excellent organizational, prioritization and critical thinking skills
Thorough assessment skills required
Experience with continuum tool
Demonstrates ability to work in a highly acute, very busy team setting
Must possess strong communication/interpersonal skills
Must have good understanding of the discharge planning process
Experience with TURP pathway preferred
