If you are interested in working independently in a fast paced environment providing support to the network Home Care team, this position may be of interest. As the successful candidate, you will report to an Out of Scope Manager and will work with a diverse team of professionals. You will assist with administration support, records management, and related documentation. You will draft routine correspondence, complete the typing/word processing and formatting of documents. Your excellent customer service and communication skills will be used when you cover the reception area of the network office. Your flexible approach and well-developed organizational skills will assist in the completion of various other responsibilities including equipment maintenance, supply ordering and maintenance, payroll data entry, mail sorting and minute taking, filing, faxing and photocopying.
A high school diploma, with additional formal secretarial training and recent related experience is required. A strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio is also required. You must have the ability to be an effective team player, be flexible and adaptable in a constantly changing environment. You must also have the ability to deal with numerous interruptions and multiple tasks in a timely manner.

Experience with a multi-line switchboard and/or a busy telephone system and previous experience in a health related environment is preferred. Previous Home Care, Meditech & E-People experience are also an asset.
